I have had a borrowed copy of this book and I would recommend it to any rottweiler owner. It takes you from A to Z in knowing about your dog. I will be purchasing a copy for myself. I have a 31/2 month old Rott and I have enjoyed reading the book and comparing what it says to what I have in front of me. (Patricia Jackson)
Natural historian and author Robert Hutchinson provides an in-depth study into the history of one of the world's most loved dogs. Combining the photographic talents of renowned pet photographers with the story of the Rottweiler, For the Love of Rottweilers is the "must-have" gift book for all those blessed in life by a Rottweiler. (approximately 100 full-color photographs)
This book shares the authors point of view on rottweilers, and also shows the history of the breed. Richard F. Stratton also tells what kind of toys the dog should have, the kind of love it should recieve, and also shares some stories about rottweilers, including dog fights.
A great variety of pictures to look at. It is very interesting and exciting to read about dogs and rottweiler fanciers. Historical information and pedigree research. Over all a great book written by a well informed author. I recommend this interesting and usefull book as a "must have".
